"Lyra and Poet"

This is a lovely pair! Two new wonderful sculptures named "Lyra and Poet" sculpted by the talented Mindy Berg. and professionally cast by Deb and Randy Buckler of "Resins by Randy". These two lovelies will be among my next sales projects.



My first thoughts for the mare and foal are highly detailed sabino with lots of white for both ....the same pattern I am painting the sabino Rose Reiner but in a bay sabino color like this:



 ...and my second choice of color is dappled warm grey for the mare with the foal as a baby dark grayish bay with the graying sign "goggles" around his eyes....the mare would be a similar color to these:








What do the readers of my blog think? Sabino or grey?

    This isn't going to be helpful, but you just can't go wrong with either of those choices.
