Land of artists, poets, and dreamers.....

We are back from our vacation slash business/work trip to the Florida Keys. I'm glad I had time...I actually MADE time.... to take lots of photos this trip! So many super wonderful photo opportunities we can find when visiting away from home.

Above two Anoles play on a stump in the yard...

Key deer lounge in peoples yards during the heat of mid-day...

Night time frogs peeping their songs.....

Cast aside artistic creations await new life in re-construction.....an artists dreamland!

and flowers bloom everywhere....

The famous Bahia Honda bridge....I have an inspirational urge to take brush and canvas in hand and paint a photo of this bridge......

and the same with this huge fellow....

and likewise take up brush and paint with these textures.....

and there is always time for a rest in the best seat in the house!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

  1. Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing :)

The deer picture makes me laugh, we get deer in the yard but they're not as tame as that - to plop themselves down next to the patio furniture!

  2. The Key deer are very tame...they will come right up to people :)

  3. If you want to paint iguanas, I have two of them and would be more than happy to share pictures for your reference. One of them is a red iguana and is a bright, neon orange! Just thought I would share. :)
