"Ravenhill" revisited......

It is an honor and privilege to have here sitting on my studio work table a wonderful sculpture....he is waiting patiently for me to begin my part of his coming to life...his colors.He is the ever popular Hilary Hurley/Stacey Tumlinson traditional sized "Ravenhill Revisited".....AND he is a one-of-a-kind :) This copy of "Ravenhill Revisited is owned by Stacey Tumlinson and will be sold via Stacey Tumlinson thru the sales venue of her choice. He sports a new mane and tail sculpted to perfection by Stacey and his new look suits him to a "T". "Ravenhill" is pictured here with some of the ref pictures I'll be using as a template for his colors and pattern...."Ravenhill" will include some fantastic super-fine hair detail both painted and delicately etched in oils....and some new techniques I've discovered will be used for this fantastic fella:)

I'm off to begin his prepwork :) More to come.....

LITTLE "BITTY BOSCO" METICULOUSLY SCULPTED BY MORGEN KILBOURN ...SOOOO MUCH DETAIL WAS SCULPTED INTO THIS LITTLE FELLOW:) I'VE BEEN BOUNCING BACK AND FORTH WITH HIS FINAL COLOR....CHESSIE OR BAY....THINKING OF GOING WITH THE BAY AS THERE WILL BE A GOOD COLOR CONTRAST WITH THE DARK MANE, TAIL, AND LEGS:)

SEEMS LIKE I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THIS LITTLE FELLOW FOR AGES :) OF COURSE THIS IS THE VERY RECOGNIZABLE "DINKY DUKE" SCULPTED BY MORGEN KILBOURN....LITTLE "DINKY" IS WEARING THE APPALOOSA SPORT HORSE COLORS. THE REF PICTURES I'M USING ARE BEHIND HIM. LITTLE "DINKY" HAS GHOST SPOTS, MAPPING AROUND HIS SPOTS AS IN HIS REF PICTURE ..TOO SMALL TO SEE:)...AND LATER THE FINE TICKING SEEN IN THE REF PICTURES BEHIND THE ELBOW WILL BE ADDED. I'VE LEFT "DINKYS" FACE A BIT MORE WHITE THAN WHAT IS FEATURED IN THE REF PHOTO....MY EYES SEE HIM MORE "BALANCED" WITH THE EXTRA WHITE IN HIS FACE.
I'M ALSO WORKING ON A CUSTOM BREYER NOKOTA......HE WILL SPORT A HIGHLY DETAILED WILD BAY FRAME OVERO COAT OF COLORS. AGAIN I'M WORKING WITH A REAL MUSTANG REF PICTURE...I LOVE THOSE REF PHOTOS....PHOTOS OF "NOKOTA" COMING SOON:)
